Ingredients
- 8 ounces imitation crab meat see note for using real crab meat
- 12 ounces salad shrimp thawed
- ½ small red onion finely diced
- 2 stalks celery diced
- ¾ cup mayonnaise light mayonnaise can be used
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
- ½ tablespoon fresh dill or ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt adjust if using table salt, start with half the amount
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the imitation crab meat (broken up), salad shrimp, diced red onion, and diced celery.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay Seasoning, fresh dill, and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding black pepper to taste.
- Pour the dressing over the crab meat, shrimp, onion, and celery mixture.
- Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Serve immediately or store the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
