Ingredients

  • 8 ounces imitation crab meat see note for using real crab meat
  • 12 ounces salad shrimp thawed
  • ½ small red onion finely diced
  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise light mayonnaise can be used
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • ½ tablespoon fresh dill or ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt adjust if using table salt, start with half the amount
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the imitation crab meat (broken up), salad shrimp, diced red onion, and diced celery.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay Seasoning, fresh dill, and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding black pepper to taste.
  • Pour the dressing over the crab meat, shrimp, onion, and celery mixture.
  • Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately or store the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
