Ingredients
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise (290 g)
- 2/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken breasts with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
- Thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each soaked wooden skewer.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to make the bang bang sauce. Set aside half of the sauce for later use.
- Use the remaining sauce to brush evenly over the chicken skewers.
- Place the skewers in the basket of your air fryer in a single layer. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to be fully cooked.
- Once cooked, transfer the skewers to a plate and drizzle or brush them with the reserved bang bang sauce.
- Serve the Bang Bang Chicken Skewers immediately and enjoy!
