Ingredients
  

  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise (290 g)
  • 2/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken breasts with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  2. Thread 4-5 chicken cubes onto each soaked wooden skewer.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to make the bang bang sauce. Set aside half of the sauce for later use.
  4. Use the remaining sauce to brush evenly over the chicken skewers.
  5. Place the skewers in the basket of your air fryer in a single layer. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to be fully cooked.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the skewers to a plate and drizzle or brush them with the reserved bang bang sauce.
  8. Serve the Bang Bang Chicken Skewers immediately and enjoy!
