INGREDIENTS:

• 1 box white cake mix
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 6 tablespoons butter, melted
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the glaze:

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon water
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• Powdered sugar, for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and melted butter. Mix these ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined.
3. Use a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to space them about 2 inches apart.
4. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 7-8 minutes. Once done, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. After that, transfer them to a wire rack to allow them to cool completely. Note that the cookies may appear slightly underdone, but they will continue to cook while cooling.
5. While the cookies are cooling, you can prepare the glaze.
6. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the butter, sugar, water, and vanilla. Cook this mixture while whisking constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved. This should take about 4-5 minutes.
7. Spoon the prepared glaze over the cooled cookies, and then allow the glaze to set. You can also dust the cookies with powdered sugar for added sweetness.
