Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons diced green chiles (from a can)
- 1 can refrigerated flaky layers biscuit dough (8 count)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Add the bacon to the basket of your air fryer and air fry for 8 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the bacon from the air fryer and crumble. Drain any bacon grease and wipe out the air fryer basket.
- While the bacon is cooking, whisk together the eggs and milk. Scramble in a greased skillet over low heat until the eggs are set but not overdone. Season with salt.
- Remove the eggs from the heat and stir in the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced green chiles.
- Open the package of biscuit dough and peel each biscuit in half to form 16 pieces of dough.
- Spoon the egg mixture evenly into the center of each piece of biscuit. Fold up the edges of the biscuit around the filling and roll into a ball, ensuring the dough is sealed.
- Stir together the melted butter and maple syrup to combine.
- Arrange the biscuit bombs in an even layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each one for air to flow. Work in batches if necessary.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with the maple butter.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-6 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious air fryer breakfast bites!
