Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake recipe

20 oz. crushed pineapple
20 oz. cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
pecans, optional
1/2 c. butter, divided


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the crushed pineapple (juice and all!) in a 9×13 inch pan and spread it out evenly.
Repeat with the cherry pie filling.
Sprinkle the cake mix over the fruit and spread it out.
Divide butter into little slabs and randomly toss them on top.
 If using pecans, sprinkle those over the top.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until golden brown.
