Butterfinger Balls

“Butterfinger Balls are a sweet and crunchy delight that brings together the irresistible flavors of Butterfinger candy bars with the creamy goodness of peanut butter. These bite-sized treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and sharing with family and friends.”

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 ½ cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 9 Bite size Butterfinger Candy BarsCrushed
  • 1 ¼ cup Unsalted ButterMelted
  • 1 ½ cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3 bags of Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • Garnish: 2 Bite size Butterfinger candy barscrushed

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Prepare the Peanut Butter Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, Butterfinger bits, melted butter, and creamy peanut butter.
    • Use an electric mixer to thoroughly combine all the ingredients until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Shape into Balls:
    • Using a #60 cookie scoop or your hands, shape the mixture into small balls.
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place each ball on the baking sheet.
  3. Chill the Balls:
    • Transfer the baking sheet with the peanut butter balls to the refrigerator and let them chill for about 30 minutes. This will help them set and firm up.
  4. Melt the Chocolate:
    • Follow the melting directions on the back of the melting wafers to melt the chocolate coating. Typically, you can melt them in the microwave or on the stovetop using a double boiler.
  5. Dip and Garnish:
    • Remove the chilled peanut butter balls from the refrigerator.
    • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Place the freshly dipped balls back onto the lined baking sheet.
    • Sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger candy bar pieces over the top of each ball while the chocolate is still wet.
  6. Pipe Additional Chocolate:
    • Add the remaining melted chocolate to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
    • Pipe a drizzle of melted chocolate on the top of each Butterfinger ball, covering the Butterfinger bits.
  7. Set and Store:
    • Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to set completely.
    • Once the chocolate is set, transfer the Butterfinger Peanut Butter Balls to a sealed container until you’re ready to serve.
