air fryer parmesan-crusted tenders

These golden brown and flavorful air fryer parmesan-crusted chicken tenders come together in no time and will make you a dinner-time hero.

Storing and Reheating
Fridge: Store leftover tenders in an airtight container or large resealable bag in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Freeze: Freeze these after they have cooled completely. To keep from sticking line them on a baking sheet for 2 hours then transfer for them to a freezer safe bag or container. Freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat: To keep them crispy reheat in the air fryer. Heat at 375 for 5-10 minutes, flipping half way through, till hot.

The air fryer has made a major resurgence several times since its introduction into the marketplace. Over the past few months, it once again gained popularity with home cooks. I’m super late to the party but I’m so glad that I finally decided to jump on the air fryer bandwagon and try it out.

I love using the air fryer on busy weeknights when I just don’t have time to worry about dinner. Chicken tenders cook pretty fast, but with the air fryer, it is even faster. Now there are no excuses to skip a homemade, healthy dinner. Air fryer parmesan chicken tenders will be your new favorite weeknight dinner.

You can start with raw chicken and make these delicious morsels from scratch in no time at all. It only takes about 10 minutes to make a quick coating for these little strips of chicken, then another 10 minutes to cook them in the air fryer.

Since air fryers are so small, they only take a couple of minutes to pre-heat. As a matter of fact, sometimes I skip the pre-heat and they turn out amazingly well.
