Slow Cooker Beef and Potato Au Gratin

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick (about 7 cups sliced)
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 can condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef on the stove top and drain any excess fat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place half of the sliced potatoes in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup over the potatoes and mix to combine.
  5. Sprinkle half of the sliced onions, half of the prepared seasoning mixture, half of the cooked ground beef, and half of the shredded cheese over the potatoes in the slow cooker.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Drizzle the beef broth evenly over the top of the layers in the slow cooker.
  8. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
  9. Serve and enjoy your delicious beef and potato casserole!
