  • 1 3/4 C. sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (1/2 C.) room temp.
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 T. all purpose flour
  • 1 C. buttermilk
  • 1 9″ pie shell, unbaked

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Cream Together Sugar and Butter

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until the mixture is well blended.

Step 2: Beat in Eggs

  1. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition until the mixture is smooth.

Step 3: Add Vanilla, Salt, and Flour

  1. Mix in the vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and the all-purpose flour until well combined.

Step 4: Add Buttermilk

  1. Gradually add the buttermilk to the mixture and mix until everything is well combined.

Step 5: Prepare the Pie Shell
