Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas
These Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas are a simple and delicious treat featuring ripe bananas sliced and cooked until caramelized with a sprinkle of cinnamon, sugar, and optional nutmeg. They make a perfect snack or dessert that's quick to prepare and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas (slightly overripe)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or substitute)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the bananas into rounds, approximately ⅓ inch thick.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg (if desired). Set aside.
- Lightly spray a large skillet with nonstick oil spray and warm over medium-low heat. Add the banana slices.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the rounds, then sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon mixture. Cook for 2-3 more minutes until the bananas are soft and warmed through.
Notes
