Key Lime Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup fresh-squeezed key lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons key lime zest
  • Cool Whip (optional topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared graham cracker pie crust, whether store-bought or homemade.
  4. Bake the key lime pie in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely before cutting.
  6. Once cooled, you can optionally top the pie with Cool Whip and decorate with lime peels.
