Key Lime Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 Graham cracker pie crust
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 cans (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup fresh-squeezed key lime juice
- 2 tablespoons key lime zest
- Cool Whip (optional topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared graham cracker pie crust, whether store-bought or homemade.
- Bake the key lime pie in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely before cutting.
- Once cooled, you can optionally top the pie with Cool Whip and decorate with lime peels.
