KOOL AID PICKLES

WHAT ARE KOOL AID PICKLES/KOOLICKLES?

Kool-Aid pickles, also known as Koolickles, are a unique and intriguing twist on traditional pickles. These pickles are made by soaking dill pickles in a brine solution infused with Kool-Aid powder. The Kool-Aid powder adds vibrant colors and additional flavors to the pickles, resulting in a tangy and sweet taste combination.

The pickles typically take on the color and flavor of the Kool-Aid used, creating a visually striking and flavor-packed snack. Koolickles are popular in some regions of the United States, particularly in the Southern states, where they are enjoyed as a novelty treat or served at festivals and fairs.

They offer a playful and unconventional twist on traditional pickles, providing a surprising burst of sweet and tangy flavors that may intrigue adventurous taste buds.

If you cant figure out by the name itself Kool Aid Pickles are pickles that are soaked in a pickle juice, Kool Aid and sugar combination and brined for about a week. They take on a deep red, purple or blue color depending on the flavor of Kool Aid used.

Notes
