Garlic Mushrooms in Parmesan Cheese

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 8 oz whole baby bella mushrooms
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • fresh parsley, to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Rinse and clean the mushrooms, then pat them dry.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil.
  3. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Introduce garlic, cream, cream cheese, Parmesan, onion powder, and oregano to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  5. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
