French Onion Soup Rice
- 1 1/4 cups Long Grain Rice, uncooked
- 14.5 oz can Beef Broth
- 10.5 oz can French Onion Soup
- 1 stick Butter, cold
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
1️⃣ Oven Preparation: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F to ensure it’s ready for baking.
2️⃣ Rice Setup: Spread the uncooked rice evenly in an 8×8 inch baking pan.
3️⃣ Adding Liquids: Pour the beef broth and French onion soup gently over the rice, ensuring even coverage.
4️⃣ Butter Topping: Cut the stick of butter into small pats and arrange them evenly over the rice and soup mixture for added flavor.
5️⃣ Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the liquids.
6️⃣ Final Bake: After 25 minutes, remove the foil carefully and return the dish to the oven for an additional 25 minutes to slightly crisp up the top layer.
7️⃣ Garnish and Serve: Once baked, sprinkle the dish with freshly chopped parsley for color and freshness. Serve the French onion soup rice warm as a comforting side dish. Enjoy!
