Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 15 pieces Swiss Rolls or Ho-hos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container Cool Whip, thawed (8-ounce)
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding (3.4-ounce)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Method

Preparation
  1. Unwrap about 10 or 11 of the Swiss Rolls, then cut each roll into 5 pieces.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9x9 inch pan with the slices of Swiss Roll.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold in about half of the thinned Cool Whip and spread it evenly over the Swiss Roll slices.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk; allow it to sit for a few minutes until it thickens.
  6. Once thickened, spread the pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top with the remaining Cool Whip, smoothing it out as needed.
  8. Cover and chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Prior to serving, garnish with extra slices of Swiss Rolls if desired.
