Ingredients
  

  • - 1 pouch 17.9 ounces Snickerdoodle cookie mix (Betty Crocker brand) with cinnamon sugar packet
  • - 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice blend
  • - 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • - 1 large egg at room temperature
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - 1 can 21 ounces apple pie filling
  • - 1/4 cup caramel dessert sauce
  • Optional for Serving:
  • - Vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8x8 glass baking dish; set aside.
  • Remove cinnamon sugar from cookie mix pouch. Combine with apple pie spice in a small bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the mixture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, stir together cookie mix (excluding reserved mixture), softened butter, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  • Press half of the cookie mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  • Spread apple pie filling evenly over the cookie layer.
  • Drop dollops of remaining cookie dough over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle reserved cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes, then drizzle caramel sauce over the cobbler. Serve with ice cream if desired.

Notes

- Ensure butter is softened for easy mixing.
- Adjust baking time as needed; toothpick should come out clean from cobbler topping.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a delicious treat.
