Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lbs apples peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Place peeled and sliced apples in the slow cooker, sprinkle cornstarch, and mix to coat.
  2. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon, mix well.
  3. Pour melted butter, lemon juice, and vanilla extract over the apples, stir until combined.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  5. Stir and serve when cooking is complete.

Notes

Choose apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for best flavor and texture.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to taste.
