Ingredients
  

  • - 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • - 2 cans 10.75 oz each cream of mushroom soup
  • - 1 envelope 1 oz dry onion soup mix
  • - 1 onion minced
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced
  • - 1 package 8 oz sliced cremini mushrooms
  • - 1 cup ginger ale

Method
 

  1. Place beef stew meat in a slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, minced onion, minced garlic, sliced cremini mushrooms, and ginger ale until well combined. Pour mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and set slow cooker to High. Cook for 1 hour, then reduce heat to Low and cook for an additional 5 hours.

Notes

- For added depth of flavor, sear the beef stew meat before placing it in the slow cooker.
- Customize by adding carrots, potatoes, or other vegetables for a complete meal.
- Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes for a hearty dinner option.
