- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Slice the unpeeled orange and blend it with eggs, milk, and vegetable oil using an immersion blender until smooth.
- Once the mixture is smooth and free of orange chunks, add sugar, salt, flour, and baking powder.
- Mix until a smooth batter forms.
- Fold the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes.
- Then, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar before serving.
