Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set it aside.
- In a stand mixer, combine the melted salted butter and 1/2 cup of cocoa powder. Blend until smooth using the paddle attachment.
- Add the sifted flour and white sugar, then mix well.
- Incorporate the eggs and vanilla, beating until just combined (don’t overmix).
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- After removing them from the oven, allow the brownies to stand for 15 minutes before frosting.
Frosting
- Combine the softened butter, whole milk, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, and confectioners’ sugar in a bowl.
- Mix until smooth and spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.

Notes
