12medium button mushrooms or cremini mushroomscleaned with stems removed and discarded
Olive oil spray
1box8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2cupfresh bread crumbs or panko breadcrumbs
2garlic clovesminced
1/2tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1/2cupfinely chopped green onions
1/2cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese
2–3 tablespoons fresh chopped Italian parsley
1cupcooked shelled crabfinely chopped (such as King Crab)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly spray the mushrooms with olive oil spray and arrange them cap side down on a baking sheet or baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, bread crumbs, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and chopped crab meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture into each mushroom.
Bake for 20 minutes. Turn the broiler on during the last minute of cooking to lightly brown the tops. Be cautious with the broiler, as its heat can vary unpredictably.
