Ingredients
  

Cheeses

  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup kasseri or graviera cheese, shredded

Vegetables

  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives, pitted and sliced
  • 2-3 pieces green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1-2 pieces tomatoes, diced

Other Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a baking dish, layer the crumbled feta cheese and shredded kasseri or graviera cheese evenly across the bottom.
  • Add the roasted red peppers, black olives, green bell peppers, and diced tomatoes as layers over the cheese.
  • Drizzle the olive oil on top and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy warm as an appetizer with crusty bread!

Notes

Serve Bouyiourdi warm right from the oven. It goes great with crusty bread for dipping.
