- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place a wire rack on a large cookie sheet.
- Wash and dry the green beans. Snap off the ends. Take a small handful of beans (approximately 5-10 green beans) and lay them on a strip of bacon. Roll the bacon around the green bean bundle and place it on the pan, seam side down. Repeat with the remaining green beans.
- In a saucepan on the stove, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and garlic powder, mixing until well combined. Remove from heat and brush this mixture over the tops of the green bean bundles. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cover the pan with foil and roast for 35 minutes. Then, remove the foil and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bacon becomes crisp.
