Preparation
- Chop the green chiles super fine.
- Cut the white American cheese into small cubes for even melting.
Cooking
- In a small saucepan over low heat, warm 3/4 cup milk until steaming but not simmering.
- Add the cubed cheese to the warm milk in small batches, stirring constantly with a spatula until fully melted.
- Once melted and glossy, stir in the green chiles and garlic powder. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- If the dip is too thick, add extra milk a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Serving
- Transfer to a warmed serving bowl and enjoy immediately, or keep on low heat to serve warm.
