  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 package Jell-O vanilla flavored cook & serve pudding (4.6 oz)
  • 1 cup uncooked instant white rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon for sprinkling on top
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg for sprinkling on top

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Beat the egg and milk together with a whisk in a saucepan until well blended.
  2. Add the dry pudding mix to the egg and milk mixture and beat for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the rice and raisins.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Once it reaches a boil, remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour the pudding into dessert dishes or a serving dish.
  7. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  8. Serve the pudding warm or chilled.
