Ingredients
  

Cupcake Base
  • 1 box Chocolate cupcake mix Feel free to substitute with a homemade recipe.
  • 3 large Eggs Use room temperature for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Oil Can use vegetable or canola oil.
  • 1 cup Water
Filling and Decoration
  • 1 cup Strawberry filling Use homemade if you prefer.
  • 1 cup White frosting
  • 1 tbsp Red food coloring To create a bloody effect.
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips or candy fangs For decorating.

Method
 

Baking the Cupcakes
  1. Preheat the oven according to the cupcake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cupcake mix by combining the ingredients in a mixing bowl as directed on the package.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into cupcake liners and bake for the recommended time until they’re springy to the touch.
  4. Once baked, let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.
Filling and Decorating
  1. Core the center of each cupcake using a small knife or cupcake corer and fill it generously with the strawberry filling.
  2. Frost the top of each cupcake with white frosting, smoothing it out as you go.
  3. Drip red food coloring over the frosting to create a bloody effect.
  4. Top with chocolate chips or candy fangs for a ghoulish finishing touch.
