  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the fruit with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  • Dot the filling with butter.
  • Cover with the top crust, seal the edges, and cut slits for steam to escape.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra flavor. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Freeze for longer storage by wrapping tightly.
