Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs and melted butter until coated. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 13x9-inch dish to form the crust. Freeze it for 20 minutes to set.
- While the crust is chilling, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add 8 ounces of whipped topping and mix on low speed until just combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until it thickens. Allow it to rest for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Once your crust is ready, spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie base. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans over the cream cheese layer and gently press them in.
- Next, layer the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese and pecans. Finally, spread the remaining whipped topping on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours; overnight is ideal.
- Just before serving, drizzle caramel sauce and chocolate syrup over the dessert, then sprinkle the leftover chopped pecans. Slice and enjoy!

Notes
For a flawless Turtle Lush, ensure room temperature for ingredients, prepare the crust a day in advance to save time, and use a spatula for even layering.
