Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups pretzels (mini twists or sticks) Use gluten-free pretzels for gluten-free diets.
  • 2 cups popped popcorn (lightly salted) Use air-popped popcorn or homemade.
  • 1 cup nuts (almonds or peanuts) Substitute with roasted chickpeas or pumpkin seeds for nut-free version.
  • 1 cup chocolate candies (M&Ms) Can use cinnamon or chili-spiced variations.
  • 1 cup candy corn Could replace with seasonal candies.
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate or candy coating (chocolate chips, candy melts, or almond bark) Consider using white chocolate for variations.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place pretzels, popcorn, nuts, chocolate candies, and candy corn in a large mixing bowl. Gently toss to combine.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup chocolate or candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each burst until completely smooth.
  3. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the snack mixture and use a large spoon or spatula to fold everything together so the chocolate coats the mix.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the coated mix into an even layer.
  5. Let the chocolate set at room temperature (about 20–30 minutes) or chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Once firm, break into bite-sized clusters and transfer to a serving bowl.
