Preparation
- Remove the mozzarella string cheese from the wrappers and lay them on a baking pan.
- Freeze the cheese sticks for about 30 minutes to make them firm.
Breading
- Crack one egg into a bowl and whisk it well. In another bowl, place your breadcrumbs.
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or cover it with foil and then spray.
- Dip each frozen cheese stick first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs. For a better coating, re-dip in the egg and then re-roll in breadcrumbs.
- Repeat for all cheese sticks, placing them on the baking sheet.
- Freeze the breaded sticks for another 20 minutes before baking.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Bake the sticks for about 5 minutes, then flip them and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes, watching closely for bubbling cheese.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes
