Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 limes 2 limes, juiced and zested
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of fish sauce Can substitute with light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 piece 1 red chili, finely sliced Adjust for spice preference
  • 1 bunch 1 bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped For flavor and garnish
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
For the fish
  • 4 fillets 4 fillets of white fish (such as cod or tilapia)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, sliced chili, grated ginger, and chopped cilantro until well combined.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a steamer, ensuring they fit comfortably.
  3. Spoon the flavorful mixture over the fish fillets, making sure they are thoroughly coated.
Cooking
  1. Steam the fish for about 10-15 minutes, or until it is fully cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Serve hot, and feel free to add more fresh cilantro on top for an extra burst of flavor.
