Ingredients
  

For the Cookies
  • 1 15.25 oz chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
For the Frosting
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Softened
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth.
  3. Scoop tablespoons of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly firm to the touch.
  5. While the cookies cool, prepare the frosting by mixing the butter, milk, and confectioners sugar until creamy and smooth.
  6. Frost the cooled cookies generously with the chocolate buttercream.
