  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
For the Icing
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil, mixing until well blended.
  3. Add cocoa powder and stir until the batter is smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges begin to set. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Icing
  1. In a medium bowl, beat together the butter, cocoa powder, milk, and confectioners sugar until smooth.
  2. Spread the icing over the cooled cookies, ensuring each one is generously topped.
