Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather and prep all your ingredients before you start cooking.
  2. Pat the steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking Steaks
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add the ribeye or filet mignon.
  2. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until your desired doneness is reached.
  3. In the last minute of cooking, toss in smashed garlic, thyme, and butter, basting your steaks for added flavor.
  4. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest.
Cooking Shrimp
  1. In the same pan, melt the additional butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  2. Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  3. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Preparing Sides and Plating
  1. While your shrimp is cooking, prepare mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and a fresh salad as side dishes.
