Ingredients

For the Rolls

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecan pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar for sprinkling

For the Glaze

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp bourbon (optional) or milk for a non-alcoholic version

Instructions

Preparation

  • Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.

Filling & Rolling

  • Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of pecan pie filling onto each triangle, roll up tightly, and place on a lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Glazing & Garnishing

  • In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar with bourbon (or milk) until smooth. Drizzle over the warm rolls.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans and a light dusting of brown sugar for extra sweetness and crunch.

Notes

Ensure the crescent roll dough is cold before working with it for easier handling. Use homemade pecan pie filling for a more customized flavor. Experiment with different nuts or add chocolate chips for a fun twist. To achieve a nice golden color, brush the tops with a little melted butter before baking.
