Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease your pie pan generously with butter to prevent sticking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, softened butter, and graham cracker crumbs to create the pie crust mixture.
- Press this mixture into your greased pie pan evenly, then bake for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
Making the filling
- While the crust is baking, in a large pot over medium heat, blend together the sugar, water, and corn starch. Stir until it reaches a boil.
- Once your sugar mixture boils, remove it from the heat and stir in the strawberry jello until fully dissolved.
- Let the mixture cool in the fridge for about 10 minutes, then gently fold in your sliced strawberries.
Assembly
- Pour the beautiful strawberry mixture into your pre-baked crust.
- Allow the pie to set in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top, and ENJOY!
Notes
Store leftover pie covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. If freezing, know that the texture of the crust may change slightly upon thawing. Use a clean serving utensil when serving from the pie dish.
