Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box 1 (15.25 oz) box of strawberry cake mix I used Betty Crocker
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Make sure strawberries are fresh
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup lemon juice Adjust quantity for desired flavor
  • 2 large 2 large eggs Room temperature is best
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar You may need extra lemon juice for consistency
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon lemon juice Add extra drops if needed for desired glaze consistency

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, chopped strawberries, lemon juice, and eggs. Beat until smooth and well blended.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes before removing the brownies from the pan.
Glazing and Serving
  1. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust for consistency as needed.
  2. Pour the glaze over cooled brownies, let set, and cut into squares.

Notes
