Preparation
  1. Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, ensure they are thoroughly thawed and drained.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir gently to coat the strawberries in sugar.
Cooking
  1. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Continuously stir the mixture until it begins to boil.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the jam reaches your desired thickness.
  3. After achieving the right consistency, remove the jam from heat and let it cool slightly.
Storage
  1. Carefully transfer the jam to clean jars and refrigerate.
