Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz, undrained)
  • 1 container whipped topping (8 oz, like Cool Whip, thawed)
  • 1 package frozen strawberries (10 oz, thawed and drained)
  • to taste mini marshmallows
  • for garnish fresh strawberries (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and the undrained crushed pineapple until well combined.
  • Fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  • Gently stir in the thawed and drained frozen strawberries until evenly distributed.
  • Add mini marshmallows to the mixture, to taste, and gently fold them in.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together and the salad to chill.

Serving

  • Serve the chilled Strawberry Fluff Salad garnished with fresh strawberries, if desired, in a large bowl or in individual serving cups.

Notes

For storing, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Best when enjoyed fresh. Make sure the strawberries are thawed and drained well to avoid excess liquid in the salad. Adjust mini marshmallows to your taste and consider adding chopped nuts for extra crunch.
