  • 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix Pillsbury brand recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips You can also use semi-sweet.
Decorative Toppings
  • as needed chocolate hearts Like the Dove brand.
  • as needed Valentine sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, baking powder, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until everything is well blended.
  5. Fold in the milk chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Using a tablespoon or a cookie scoop, drop 1-inch balls of dough onto your prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for exactly 10 minutes.
  8. Let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to cool slightly.
  9. Sprinkle Valentine-themed sprinkles on top while they are still warm.
  10. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely and add a chocolate heart on top of each cookie.
