- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- If adding bell peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds, and bake them for 5 minutes to soften.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the egg and water until well combined.
- Add the ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing mix, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper to the mix. Use your hands to gently combine these ingredients until just mixed.
- Press the meat mixture into your prepared loaf pan evenly. If using bell peppers, place them cut-side up on top and gently press them in.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar to create a glaze. Spread this glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for about 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once baked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
