  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground meat (chicken, turkey, or beef) Use your choice of ground meat.
  • 1 whole onion, chopped Chop finely for even cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 4 cups bok choy, chopped Can substitute with other leafy greens.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Tamari can be used for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional ingredient for added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste red pepper flakes Optional, for added heat.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground meat and cook until it’s browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Once the meat is browned, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the onion turns translucent.
  4. Stir in the chopped bok choy, mixing it in until it begins to wilt, roughly 2-3 minutes.
  5. Incorporate the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), rice vinegar, and sesame oil, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes so the flavors meld.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Serve hot.

Notes
