  • 2 pieces boneless beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin) Choose your preferred cut of steak.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking the steaks.
  • 2 tbsp butter To enhance the sauce flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds strong flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Cream base for the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup beef broth To deepen the sauce flavor.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard For a slight tang in the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds richness to the sauce.

Method
 

Cooking the Steak
  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken slightly.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve the steaks with the garlic cream sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
