Ingredients
  

Steak Preparation
  • 2 pieces boneless beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin) Choose your preferred cut.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking the steak.
Garlic Cream Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Base of the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup beef broth Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard Adds a tangy flavor.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Thickens the sauce.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Prepare the Steak
  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Make the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter.
  2. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken slightly.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve
  1. Serve the steaks with the garlic cream sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Let the steak come to room temperature before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness aiming for 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare. You can marinate the steak for enhanced flavor. For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer.
