Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 1 lb cheese tortellini Use fresh or frozen tortellini.

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor of the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a rich cheese flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper To taste.

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Can be marinated for extra flavor.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing the steak.
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (baby bella or white) Can substitute with other mushrooms.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Enhances presentation.

Preparation

  • Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet with olive oil, sear the steak until it is browned and medium-rare. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are browned and tender.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it is fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Final Assembly

  • Toss the cooked tortellini with the Alfredo sauce.
  • Plate the dish and top it with the steak, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh parsley for garnish.

Notes

To store leftovers, place the dish in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk.
