Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 2 to 4 pieces petite steaks Choose your preferred cut.
  • 1 tsp salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp pepper To taste.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For cooking the steaks.

For the Potatoes

  • 2 to 4 pieces russet potatoes Or 4 to 6 baby potatoes.
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter For mixing with potatoes.
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs Dried or fresh.
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme Chopped.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley Chopped.

Preparation

  • Season the petite steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.

Cooking the Steak

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the steaks to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Cooking the Potatoes

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • Add butter, Italian herbs, thyme, and parsley to the potatoes.
  • Toss well to combine and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.

Serving

  • Serve the steaks with the herb butter potatoes on the side.

Notes

Make sure to let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep it juicy. Feel free to adjust the amount of herbs and spices according to your taste.
