Ingredients
  

For the steaks
  • 2 to 4 pieces petite steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
For the potatoes
  • 2 to 4 pieces russet potatoes or 4 to 6 baby potatoes cut into wedges
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the petite steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steaks to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. While the steaks are cooking, wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
  5. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  7. Add butter, Italian herbs, thyme, and parsley to the potatoes.
  8. Toss well to combine and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve the steaks with the herb butter potatoes on the side.
  2. You can add a side salad or vegetables for a balanced meal.
  3. Enjoy it with your favorite sauce or gravy if you like!
