Ingredients
  

For the steaks

  • 2 to 4 pieces petite steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking

For the potatoes

  • 2 to 4 pieces russet potatoes or 4 to 6 baby potatoes cut into wedges
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Preparation

  • Season the petite steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the steaks to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • While the steaks are cooking, wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • Add butter, Italian herbs, thyme, and parsley to the potatoes.
  • Toss well to combine and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.

Serving

  • Serve the steaks with the herb butter potatoes on the side.
  • You can add a side salad or vegetables for a balanced meal.
  • Enjoy it with your favorite sauce or gravy if you like!

Notes

Make sure to let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep it juicy. Feel free to adjust the amount of herbs and spices according to your taste. Try using different types of potatoes for a unique flavor.
