- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced chiles and sauté until they become golden brown.
- Toss in the diced onion and allow them to caramelize slightly.

- Stir the charred chiles and onions into the soy sauce mixture and let it marinate for a few minutes.
