Ingredients
  

  • 325 g 2 5/8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 120 ml 1/2 cup hot milk
  • 30 g 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 g 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 25 g 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Method
 

  1. Whisk together hot milk, sugar, egg, and dry yeast in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine salt with flour. Gradually add the flour mixture to the liquid ingredients.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, then set it aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Knead the softened butter into the dough.
  5. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, then divide it into pieces and shape each piece into a roll.
  6. Place the dough rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Allow the rolls to rise for an hour, then brush them with egg wash before baking.
  8. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Ensure the dough is sufficiently rested to allow for proper rising.
